Close proximity of two wireless systems can sometimes impact performance. In some installations the proximity and orientation of the WiFi controller and the antenna wire from garage opener can impact your remote's range. If possible, move the Insignia controller further away from the opener. Another option is to use a plug adapter to rotate the controller 90 degrees right or left. The WiFi signal is strongest on the narrow end of the controller that has the cord attached. For best results have that end pointed towards the general direction of your WiFi router and away from the garage opener motor/antenna.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like your signal strength is low in your garage, no issue of the unit, this is a network fault. Add a repeater, switch to cell service to operate and notice the difference.
