No it does not work with any internal Network only system and relies on the app and an internet connection at this time

Yes it will, but I would look at something different. This requires you to be logged into your Best Buy account to work and is slow to respond. Sometimes up to 15 minutes. I just bought ours a week ago and am planning on returning it.
