• The package information specifically states, "DO NOT use in wet or damp areas." So, it depends on the space and how likely it is to get wet. You might be able to put it into the outlet and then plug an electrical cord into it. Also, it dies require Wi-Fi, so make sure your signal gets that far. In guess my main question is, "Do you need to vary the times of the lighting display so much that you need a fully-programmble device?"
