Got mine to work just type this without the quotes "http://captive.apple.com/hotspot-detect.html" while connected to your Insignia Smart Plug using Chrome and then it will ask you to open the Insignia app... confirm and then proceed with setup. Was driving me crazy until I figured it out, it seems Safari has issues while trying to set it up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if using iOS - it has to be a certain version and above .. and once connected to Insignia Wi-Fi leave it. The app will auto sense that Wi-Fi connectivity has been established and then proceed with device setup
