• The instructions say you can plug a refrigerator into the smart plug so why not a air conditioner.

• Check out how many amps this module supports and check the amp rating of the air conditioner. All appliances have it stamped somewhere. It will read something like 5.6A, the A standing for amps. If the appliance rating doesn't exceed the module rating, you are good. However even if you turn on and off the AC through this module, usually you still have to press a button on the AC to turn it after giving the power unit so I'm not sure it would work for this purpose, something to double check.
