I've had the same exact problem...tried to set up additional plugs in house after the initial one in my dining room, but the app does not or won't recognize them. Also, this item is quirky...it works for a month or so and then says "it looks like the dining room light isn't available right now" even though my internet and home relay are working with other devices....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a similar issue. Return this product and do not exchange for another Insignia. Instead go for the Belkin Wemo plugs. More expensive but after two months with them, completely reliable!
