Probably not. Need to connect outlet to your wifi network first. Then the app works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On your phone, under settings WiFi, disconnect from your current WiFi. Plug the Insignia WiFi Smart plug into an electrical outlet so it is powered on. You should a new WiFi access point appear in your phones WiFi settings. Attach to it and it should walk you through configuring the smart plug to your home WiFi (SSID, password, etc.) After that it should show up in the app. I had to do this for one of my plugs, but after that things went smoothly.
