• Is this for desktop or lap? You would need at least one working usb to get this to work they both work together. I use it for my laptop because my keyboard stop working as well. I hope this helped

• Don't think they sell them. But it is possible with some Logitech models.

• Yes, you can go to insignia.com and get the USB and just plug it in and use it. No paring needed. Pretty cheap too.....

• Had the same problem with the FOB...had to hot glue mine back together.

• You can purchase a new Unifier but it must have the "unifier" logo on it to ensure it works. The Insignia product for instance does not have that logo on the Unifier itself which is where you would see it. From what I have seen the cost of the replacement plus shipping would be greater than the purchase of a new Insignia combination when purchased new. I would just go by a cheaper new set if it were me.

• No, the USB dongle is paired to the keyboard and mouse at the factory and cannot be replaced.
