• Good question. Most new computers don't come with a DVD player because of the space, cost, and weight. You can download and install TurboTax online. Contact Intuit customer service and explain your situation - they should take care of you.

• I believe you can talk to Intuit customer support. They might be able to give you a download link for the product, but you may have to return the CD to the store and buy it from Intuit.com You could also buy a cheap USB DVD drive to plug into your computer, but that might cost more than you want to spend.

• yes, setup an online account with Turbo Tax and contact them. They can place a download file on your account (might need to wait on the phone for a while!).

• You can probably purchase an external CD drive or see if you can return the TurboTax and download the software directly from TurboTax website.
