• There is one HDMI slot and one DVI port so two monitors could certainly be connected at once. I currently use with a laptop and a separate monitor and I do not have to mirror the displays.

• Just to clarify the above answer, there is no DVI port. It is a VGA port. So you have 1 DVI port and 1 HDMI to use.
