QuestionDoes this unit also play CDs and cassette tapes? Or does it only function to transfer cassette recordings to CD (or mp3)?

- Answer Hi, I'll be glad to assist! The Ion Tape 2 PC can be used to playback tapes on the unit itself, or it can connect to a computer to digitize your tapes. It does not have the ability to play CDs.

- Answer Hi, I'll be glad to assist! The RCA outputs on the Ion Audio Tape 2 PC are line level, so they should only be connected to a line level or auxiliary input on your receiver. Do not connect the outputs of the Tape 2 PC to the phono inputs of your receiver.
