• you have to download the app iOttie App then it walks you through the pairing process, then it links your Amazon account. if you already did this you will have to do it everytime you get in the car. It why I'm taking mine back

• IOttie/Alexa usually works when you put car stereo in either Media/Aux, but you will need to turn up the volume on both the phone and the car sterero, just make sure you turn down the volume before you turn it back to stereo
