- Answer The station can't actually refill the robot for you: the m6 will know when it's empty and go back to its Home Base to recharge while waiting for you to refill it. If refilled within 12 hours, m6 will pick up where it left off and finish the cleaning. If over 12 hours, it will restart the mission. One thing to consider as an i7+ owner is how the Roomba i- and s-series team with m6 for a thorough, hands-off clean. These Roomba vacuuming robots can sent a signal to the m6 when they're done vacuuming, to send the m6 out to mop.

- Answer I understand you can use another cleaner, I imagine they tell you to use their brand to continue sponsoring them. but I have used another brand and it has worked very well, it has never given me a problem. I always use it with hot water that helps dilute the cleaner better.

Questioncan you change the direction the Robot Mop cleans in. I used mine for the 1st time and it mopped against the grain of the hardwood floors which leaves very noticeable streaks. Very disappointing if not.

- Answer Absolutely! Jet, to save battery life, etc. takes the longest path of the room. Less turning. Go back to your maps, add the dividers in each room necessary, in such a way as to insure the length is going in the direction you net the Jet to mop. I’ve divided my kitchen in 4. I tried half but the jet still went in the wrong/same direction. Might have gotten away with 3 but I just added another divider to each half. Now my kitchen has 4 ‘rooms’. Named them kitchen 1, 2, 3, and 4. Had them named K. Right and Left but as I said… The Jet now starts the mopping in the correct direction. With the grain of the wood. As you can see, I had to do the same for the dining room. The length at kitchen right 2’ where it is longer than the rest is because thats a high traffic area that should be mopped with the kitchen. The dining room not as often. I hope this was helpful

- Answer The Braava m6 does not have any vacuuming capabilities. There are Roomba models (Roomba 960, i7, s9) you can pair with the m6 so your Roomba and Braava can communicate with each other. This means you can schedule the Roomba to vacuum and the Braava m6 will automatically mop when the Roomba is done.

QuestionI have my Braava jet m6 and its charging base on the first floor and it does a beautiful job moping the floors. I also have hardwood floors upstairs, will it work if I bring the Braava upstairs to mop without its charging base?

- Answer Hi MDShoper... You can absolutely bring your m6 to another level and it will clean without its base. You simply need to bring it back downstairs to send it home. Your robot will also map and learn your second level so you can designate rooms and adjust cleaning plans there as well.

- Answer I believe it would. Heck, you can probably clean asphalt with it too, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Why not use a hose on your outdoor flooring and leave the expensive robot mop indoors.

- Answer OK, you made me look for this one. I just ran it and it did not spray cabinets or walls. The camera appears that the camera/lidar sees the wall/cabinet and knows how far it sprays and stopped far enough away to leave dry walls and cabinets. Thanks for the question was neat to watch it not spray things.

- Answer No, there is no velcro, the connection uses a large tab that is unique to the model. Swiffer pads are also the wrong size and also far too thin. The pads on the M6 are much thicker. There are reusable/washable dry and wet pads available from iRobot sold by Best Buy that can cap your need for the replacement pads. - Answer It appears to sense "tilt' or perhaps some other feature of a carpet, but our m6 never succeeded in climbing onto our carpets, as the thresholds were in the way. When we intentionally placed it on a carpet, it just stopped.
