- Answer You actually don't need a phone to operate any connected Roomba: you can simply press Clean on the robot and are ready to go. You'll miss a few of the step-up features (scheduling, Clean Maps) without WiFi, but the cleaning performance and recharge functions are the same. If you don't want to use WiFi, you could consider the Roomba 614, which is unconnected.

- Answer Roomba is best on finished, hard floors. Although Roomba can easily navigate uneven floors, I'd worry about the rough surface damaging your robot.

- Answer No, this option does not have the recharge and resume feature, A model with mapping should.

- Answer No. You don’t NEED WiFi. It has buttons on top that manually start cleaning, but WiFi is helpful to connect the app to the Roomba. It schedules cleanings and gives you a health report on your device. Or alerts you if it’s stuck.

- Answer Not much, they sell refresher kits for around $30 that contain all the consumable components needed to make it basically brand new again. I haven’t needed to buy anything. I’ll clean hair and anything tangled in the rollers which come out very easily after every few cleanings and keep the filter clean (washable) and it’s good to go! The only thing that may need to be replaced more often is the spinning wisp which is just one screw. I’ve had mine for a while and it’s still working fine but I foresee needing a new wisp within the next few months, but they’re only $5-7 bucks, anything that spins at high speeds and rubs against anything abrasive will eventually wear out!

- Answer The unit itself has an onboard 20 volt battery that charges docks onto a 120v charging station but I am sure that make a European model that accepts 220v.

- Answer When you ask, "Does it clean laminate floors?" I surmise you are referring to the vacuuming function? If that is the case, the answer is yes. It auto height adjusts to vacuum bare floors and carpet.

- Answer We don't have any hard transitions like you describe, but we do have several area rugs that are at least 1/2" high. The 675 doesn't have any problems at all traversing them.
