- Answer No, the USB 3.0 7-Port HUB supports transmission speed of 5 Gbps and one port supports fast charging for smartphones, tablets, iPad up to 2.4A. Will not charge a computer. Most of j5create devices use a USB-C power-in port that will allow you to charge your computer. However, your computer would need a USB-C port that supports USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0 for pass-through charge, in order to use a j5 device that allows charging.

QuestionHi, I just purchased the hub earlier today, and it doesn't work with my wired keyboard and mouse when I plugged it in my Dell Inspiron laptop. I tried to plug the adapter into the wall outlet but it doesn't work as well, what can I do?

- Answer Hi Dorris. If you recently upgraded your Dell Inspiron to Windows 11, you might need Microsoft's help. I just had a problem with my PC only recognizing one USB device plugged into my hub. If that is the problem you're having, it's because the Win11 update didn't carry the settings for the USB Root HUB (USB 3.0) from Win10. The USB Root Hub (3.0) driver will need to be updated. You can see the Universal Serial Bus controllers on your PC by going into Device Manager(right click on Start to get there).

- Answer The Power Adapter is 5V/4A. It's not necessarily allocated as 2.4 amps per port but rather shared among all ports. The maximum current per port would be approximately 2.4 / 7 ≈ 0.34 amps.
