• A:Answer No, the USB to HDMI adapter cannot be used to connect a PC HDMI port to a TV USB port. The JUA254 is designed to connect a computer's USB port (not HDMI) to an HDMI port on a monitor or TV. It converts a USB signal to HDMI, not the other way around.

Q: QuestionI want to mirror my HP Chromebook with my 8-10 yr old TV. Will J5 create (JUA254) USB to HDMI Multi-Monitor Adapter work for this purpose?

• A:Answer Hello Lissa, unfortunately JUA254 requires a driver but is not compatible with Chromebooks. We have Plug and Play devices but we would need to know the model number of your computer to see if your computer will support PnP. • A:Answer Up to 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) at 60 Hz (60 FPS).For best performance and reliability, it is recommended to connect the JUA254 directly to a USB 3.0 port on your computer. The JUA254 will also require an installation of a driver. You can download the driver from the j5create Support page.

• A:Answer The JUA254 typically requires drivers to function properly. Unfortunately, ChromeOS doesn't support third-party driver installations the way Windows or macOS does. If your ChromeOS supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C or plug-and-play functionality, you may want to look at JCC153G.

Q: QuestionIconnected j5create jua254 with desktop tower(usb) to TV HDMI. Receive audio but tv screen frozen on Windows screen dont change or mirror computer screen. How do I fix this? already uninstall & reinstall driver. using wrong adapter?

Q: QuestionI have one external display connected through the Thunderbolt port, and he other with this adapter. It shows two additional screens (5 in total) when it should only be three. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, why am I getting this problem?

• A:Answer Please make sure HDMI Adapter is connected directly to a computer. Uninstall and reinstall the driver once more with out the device connected. Go to j5create website and download the required drivers under the Support tab > Downloads/Drivers. Once completed, connect the device and go to your display settings. If you see those additional display's, click on the box and select "Disconnect this Display".

Q: QuestionI have a Lenovo Ideapad flex with windows 10, USB 3.1 TYPE A USB port, HDMI port also. Can I use this adapter to have an extended display for dual monitors (one using this adapter and another using my laptop HDMI port)? I am not interested mirroring.

• A:Answer Unfortunately, the JUA254 is intended to work with Windows and Mac OS' and because it requires a driver, it will not work with your iPhone. We do have other adapters available that may work for mirroring your phone's screen to a TV; if interested, we recommend contacting support mentioned on the packaging and a rep will be ready to help.
