They charge in the case when not plugged into a usb port. However, they will only charge as long as there is charge in the case. Usually 2-3 full charges are in a fully charged case. So at some point you need to at least charge the case.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly I've only had'em a short time, and really busy with work so not long enough to figure out all the little things these can do or not do. I do know that the case has to be plugged into a USB. I'm unsure about the wireless charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The case has an integral battery that will charge the buds by itself. Eventually the case will also have to be pugged in of course, but you should be able to go several days before having to do that (depending on your use levels).
