“When answering a call or making a call, i can't hear anything through my ear buds. Nor can the other person on the other line hear me. Does any one else get this?”

Are the buds connected to multiple devices, like your computer? That's the only time I had a similar problem - the buds ignored the phone & prioritized my computer
