A:AnswerYou can not really hear anything else out of the ear you have it in. That being said, it only goes in one ear so you can still hear outside noise with the other ear. In terms of comfort that has been my issue, I feel like it fits tightly in yoru ear which is good when in use, but when you take it out I noticed it hurt a little, like in ear headphones that are a little big for my ear canal. It seems like it could be shaped more ergonomically.

A:AnswerI’ve had the same issue with my iPhone 8. I’m thinking the device is not up to date with new phones. Although I did read a review about an iPhone 5s having the same issue. So I don’t know what the problem is.
