Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no, they are water resistant not water proof. I would purchase headphones specifically made for swimming. Bluetooth wireless ranges vary by manufacture, brand and device. I can only speak from experience the stated maximum bluetooth range using a dongle booster is about 300 ft. Other environmental factors, i.e water, could impede that. All that being said if you want to listen to music in the water or while you swim again i would say purchase purpose built device for your use case.
