It is all one piece. There are different colored UP3 for sale but as far as I can tell they are not interchangeable.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a single piece device. The monitoring sensors are also located in the band. This likely makes the device more accurate, but removes the ability to change bands (at least as of now).

Please try again later.It's difficult to tell from the Jawbone page, but it looks like there are metal conductors on the band that are required for the "bioimpedence" feature to work. Other designs have been teased by Jawbone, but the main piece of the band (with the electronic components) looks different on each of the different bands, so those don't help answer this question either. Best guess is they *may* be replaceable, but surely at an increased cost due to the needed conductors.
