QuestionDo you have to have both, the supplied HDMI cable and an optical cable? Is the optical cable required for audio, or does the HDMI cable provide both, audio and visual?

- Answer Since this sound bar has an HDMI pass-through, you are able to run one source through the sound bar while using HDMI ARC from your TV. If you do not have HDMI ARC, you can simply run the sound through an optical cable to your sound bar. Very simple design. It makes more sense once you have the product in your hands as well. I recommend buying it. You will not be disappointed.

- Answer This sound bar has a VERY simple design. There is only HDMI in, HDMI out with ARC support, optical in, and a power inlet. The sound bar also supports Bluetooth. The design of this sound bar is extraordinarily simple but relies on your TV or receiver to do all of the legwork.

- Answer Our JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass doesn't have an aux jack and Clear Voice feature. It has 2 tweeters and 4 racetrack drivers.

- Answer A solid amber light on the subwoofer pairing button means that it's disconnected with the soundbar. Please perform a manual pairing. On the subwoofer, press and hold until the subwoofer button flashes white. To enter the subwoofer pairing mode on the soundbar, press and hold on Bass button the remote control until “SUBWOOFER SPK” is displayed. Press - on the remote control. Once “SUBWOOFER CONNECTED” is displayed it means that the subwoofer is connected to the soundbar.
