I have had the same problem a few times. It may not be the bar but the TVs ARC connection. I have Directv and at least once a week I also have to reset that to as I have no picture. Maybe try emailing JBL support. Love the bar though.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s garbage. Mine has done the same thing since right after the warranty went out. Never buying JBL again. $1000 sound bar that’s junk.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you're using a Vizio M Series TV, it might be the TV, as Vizio has had a pretty bad run of luck with the most recent TVs since 2019.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own a Vizio soundbar and I have the same issue. Its like the tv doesnt recognize the bar so every once in a while i have to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its not just a JBL thing I have the same problem with my VIZIO sound bar every once in a while when turning the tv on I get no sound I unplug the power cord then plug it back in and I hsve sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may have pushed the HDMI output to arc too much...if you wall mounted it. Take the bar and look at the HDMI input in and look at the HDMI output and compare the two...look at the metal part of the HDMI...esp at the top. The HDMI output may have popped inside plastic sound bar casing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may have pushed hdmi output to arc into unit or the sound bars may come from the factory like that. Use ONLY micro HDMI ...even right angle hdmi can put pressure on hdmi output and cause to lose contacts inside unit making it lose voice or even picture. The vibration of how powerful this sound bar is causes this hdmi to rattle. I had the same issue...but when I compared hdmi input to hdmi output...it was clear to me that the hdmi input was flush to plastic on unit and the hdmi output had been pushed in. Using the thick hdmi cables puts added weight and pressure on the hdmi output. Also JBL put hdmi output and input too close to wall causing user to push in hdmi.
