QuestionI have the 9.1 jbl bar, hooked to an lg oled tv, the display on sound bar never displays dolby atmos. always says 5.1 dolby surround.

- Answer To play the surround sound with DOLBY ATMOS or DTS:X, connect your Blu-ray player or other digital devices to the HDMI input connector on the soundbar. If the TV support Dolby ATMOS, served over HDMI ARC, just make sure it is selected in the TV setting menu. Dolby Atmos is only possible if the source has arc.

- Answer Yes. Our JBL Bar 9.1 is compatible to be used with Samsung, LG, Vizio, and many TV brands. As long as you would have the supported connection for it - HDMI, AUX, Optical.

QuestionDoes it support hdr10?

- Answer I have a LG CX TV connected to my JBL 9.1 Bar. I have played 4k Blu-rays that were HDR10, and had it passthrough using the eARC connection on the TV with two different Blu-ray players. So if that works a simpler direct connection to it should work similar as well since. I have had it do plenty of HDR streaming content and it indicates Dolby Vision or HDR on the TV depending on the content. I mention this, as my LG CX indicates support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision (But not HDR10+), so my experience with this and the information from JBL's website on this all indicates that it does support HDR10 passthrough.

QuestionIf i hook a PS5 or Xbox Series X through the HDMI In of the soundbar, if the HDMI eArc port is HDMI 2.1 on the TV, will the video part will still be 4k@120fps?

QuestionI don't have any sound coming from the right detachable speaker, it just blinks with a white dot. Left one does work. I tried docking and undocking the speaker. I tried factory reset and charging the speaker through USB. Any ideas what else to try?

- Answer Have u tried to upgrade the speaker's firmware to correct this. And or you could have a wireless device that is interfering with the blue tooth signal and need an update! Someone had similar problem; tracked it down to Mac computer. Toggled the bluetooth off and back on and it fixed the JBL problem. Weird, since the JBL was never connected to the Mac. Also, make use of the Ethernet port if you can. This helps isolate connectivity to the JBL device only. (Not the rear spkr)., but may indeed help to connect that lost spkr signal!

QuestionThe sound bar came with a very short HDMI cable (about 4 feet). I need a longer cable (about 12 feet), due to wall mounting. Do I have to get an HDMI cable specifically for the arc connection? And if so can you recommend a brand? I have a nanocell lg TV.

- Answer It depends on your TV HDMI version connections. Below is an article that's very informative with a chart showing the required HDMI version per technical activity/feature trying to accomplish. In my opinion I would future proof and use version HDMI 2.1. What brand cable? Absolutely no need to purchase the hyped up expensive brands. HDMI audio and video signals are digital therefore don't require superior materials to transfer data. - Answer Specs in the manual state "100 - 240V AC, ~ 50/60 Hz" in the manual, so, yes, it should work with 230V AC.

- Answer I would buy the 9.1. Based on all of the reviews I've read and trust me I've read a lot. Customers who have either had or tested both systems say that the 9.1 is a much better. I love the sound and the rear speakers are louder than both the Vizio SB36512-F6, and the Nakamichi - 7.2.4. I tried both systems and was disappointed with both. Go for the JBL 9.1 I would wait to see if it goes on sale again for Christmas.
