QuestionWhen I try to turn on night mode listening, the detachable speaker disconnects and has me plug it back into the main soundbar. Sometimes have to repeat it over 5 times until it stays connected. Is that an issue other people have had?

- Answer Thanks for your question. Our JBL Bar 1000MK2 has a total maximum power output of 960 W (at THD 1%), broken down into about 500 W for the soundbar, 300 W for the subwoofer, and 2×80 W for the detachable surround speakers.

Questionhello, we're ordering the JBL BAR1000MK2 soundbar system online to be delivered. If we're using Geeksquad....will they know what is needed for a turnkey job? Will Geeksquad contact me to find out details? Does this system require electrical work?

- Answer No electrical work. Need to use HDMI cables to connect to TV and other devices (playstation,etc.) Subwoofer is wireless. Just plug in soundbar and connect to wifi.

QuestionWhy can't I get the audio synced to the video? The audio sync does not fix the sync problem. 0 ms is closest to syncing. Is there something else I can do?

QuestionAre the Detachable Speakers supposed to be borderline on mute? They're extremely quiet it seems entirely pointless to even use them. Are they a gimmick and its mainly supposed to be used as one soundbar or is there an issue with them that can be updated?

- Answer Depends on the show you are watching. Try a Dolby Atmos action movie like Knog Skull Island. They don't do much for a regular TV show. Also check that you have the rear speakers set to high vs low or medium. Same for Atmos, low to high as well. Those settings are in the app.

QuestionWhat size is the subwoofer and do the satellite speakers charge on the soundbar? Do they need to be put back on the soundbar when you turn off the TV and sound system?

- Answer Subwoofer specs are in the specs description. The detachable speakers charge on the soundbar and have to be returned to the soundbar when the batteries get low. App tells you the battery level. I get a few days out of them.

QuestionThe detachable speakers have minimal volume. They do increase at the same rate as the sound bar, however you must hold them up to your ear to hear them. How do I resolve this?
