QuestionDoes this take the place of the TV speakers- in other words, will the TV speakers turn off while the soundbar is on? When the TV turns on, does the sound bar automatically turn on with it? Can the volume be controlled through the TV remote?

- Answer Thanks for your question. Generally, when you connect a soundbar, like the JBL Cinema SB570, to your TV using an HDMI cable through the ARC/eARC ports, the TV will automatically recognize it as the default audio output device. If your TV also has CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) enabled, you can use a single remote (either the TV's or the soundbar's) to control both devices' power and volume.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, our JBL Cinema SB 570 should work with most Samsung TVs. You can connect it using either HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or an optical audio cable.

QuestionDoes anyone know how to get the front of the soundbar to show functions? All I get is 3 dots, which doesn't show me volume going up/down, what the bar is running in(arc, earc, etc) or anything else

QuestionI just purchased the JBLSB570,and I tried to get it paired to my Samsung 55" Tv,thru Bluetooth, and it wouldn't connect.I don't know why,I followed all the steps it just didn't happen 🙃 for me.So I just use the HDMI(ARC),and I'm okay with that.

Please turn on the unit, press the source button, and select Bluetooth. Check your TV's Bluetooth list for the name of the soundbar. If you're having trouble connecting, try unplugging the unit for a minute, then attempt to connect again. You can also try pairing it with a different device like phone or tablet. If the issue persists, reset the soundbar by pressing and holding the power and source buttons for more than 10 seconds to restore factory settings. QuestionVery confusing model nomenclature. The number might indicate it is a 2.1 channel soundbar with SW but the description calls it a 3.1 channel with SW. Can you confirm what it is exactly?
