I'm responding to the response. I have the optical cable. I had the TV sound turned to zero. The sync issue is currently completely unacceptable. Unless there's a setting that I'm not seeing that will help correct this, I'll return the unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only way I could get it to work well was with optical connector. I am assuming your TV has that. Still, there is the time delay and yes it is a problem. I have tv sound very good with soundbar only so I am using that with slight tv volume. What I could NOT do is have aux speakers (stereo) and soundbar with no delay at the same time. Some amps have time delay correction but mine doesn't have this. I have decided to keep the unit since for tv its 100 times better than tv speakers. Hope this helps. From what I understand, this is a processing delay in the unit. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This can be caused by the formatting that your source device is using and the TV can accept and output. If your source device (Bluray, gaming console, DVD..) is set to output Dolby Digital/DTS, and your TV can only output two-channel digital signal (PCM) when connected via HDMI-ARC, this requires the TV to process the signal before it sends it to the SB250. This takes enough time to cause such delay. Try using an optical cable from the TV to the SB250, if you are using HDMI, or setting your source device to send PCM/Stereo signals only to the TV.Please be aware that true Dolby Digital and DTS requires a minimum of 5 speakers strategically placed around your room. While the soundbar can accept a DD/DTS signal, the end result is not DD/DTS, so you are not giving up any quality by switching your source to PCM/Stereo.
