- Answer Thanks for your question. It is possible that your JBL Pulse 5 is locked or there is a power button failure. To isolate the issue, while the unit is unplugged, power cycle by pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds. If the issue remains, try resetting it by pressing and holding the Light and Bluetooth buttons for more than two seconds while it is on. You may need to forget your speaker on your device to pair it again. If you need more help, please contact us.

QuestionHi, I’ve tried different cables plus the cable it came with, but it’s not charging right no matter what cable I’m using. Before it was at 20% now it’s at 10% and it’s not even reaching 20%. Is there something I’m doing wrong or do I have a defective JBL?

Then, try charging it with another power adapter that provides at least 5V/2A from an alternate power source. - Answer Its in developer mode you have to google how to turn it off. You hold 2 buttons on it. It sounds like static shock when turning it off with charger plugged in
