• Yes, the speakers can be separated from the stereo. However, I don't recommend this unit and I'm going to return the one I have. It's really cheap and doesn't work. I do, however, always recommend Best Buy. I buy all my electronics from Best Buy because they have the price guarantee. I also recommend Best Buy because they do stand behind all their products and returns are accepted nicely.
