- Answer I don’t believe so. I have it plugged into a phone jack and then have a phone and a fax machine inputted into to to split that phone line.

QuestionI need this so I can use the fax option of my HP Office Jet 5255. I don't have a clue how to do this but was told I need this to put in the computer and a Cat 6 Cable to my 5255. Does that sound right? My MagicJack Home is in the router in another room.
