Will this tripod hold a spotting scope? null

It is not what the support is designed for, however, it would depend on the weight of the scope. The max payload for this item is 500g / 1.1lb. Perhaps a more solid base would be the HandyPod 2. Neither option would offer the ability to pan or tilt, they would only perform as a static support Darren

This tripod is meant more for mobile phones, small action or point-and-shoot cameras. I wouldn't recommend attaching a spotting scope to this.
