A:AnswerIt has a usb port in the back of the unit.. you'll need to run a cable fron the port, forward to the dash or glove compartment. I don't know about appleplay, but if it uses a usb cable it should work. Ask your installer or the Geek Squad folks.
A:AnswerYes, it does have USB. The only thing is that the USB connection is on a cable from the back of the unit. It's not on the front of the unit like a lot of the stereos that are out there.
A:AnswerHave you tried a different cable? I was also experiencing issues with Android Auto whereby I kept getting errors along the lines of "error accessing the device has occurred". I changed USB cables and issue was resolved.
For what it's worth, I purchased a USB cable by JSAUX off Amazon and Android Auto has worked ever since.
A:AnswerCall the guy who installed mine at the Wilkes barre Best Buy. This guy was very impressive. I did get new speakers , subwoofer and amp along with my head unit. Redid my whole sound. And it’s amazingly balanced and solid all the way up. Installer told me not to go all the way up little distortions can blow the speakers. But I’m cool with that.

A:AnswerDepending on the setup with the installation you would be able to see the front camera. With side cameras that would be manual, I would advise to consult with your installer to see what options your vehicle has and check with JVC directly as well.
