This unit has a AV-INPUT. Many customers connect a 3.5 to Composite cable. This will end with generic composite so you could connect a VCR. Some will then connect iSimple ISHD01 MediaLinx cable to convert composite to HDMI (allowing devices like a gaming console via HDMI). Some will then buy the adapter for their smartphone which converts HDMI to MHL.
