“Since there is no remote included, does that mean it will not work with a remote or it just doesn't include one? I have an extra JVC single din receiver remote which I'd like to know if it would work with this? It is a standard black & blue JVC remote.”

There is a remote that will work with this radio, and it sounds like the black and blue remote you have is the correct one. Search for it on JVC’s website. They have more info.

So I just bought this today, and I'm looking at the box, and as it doesnt come with a physical remote, there is an app theyve put on the back that I believe is suppose to be a remote for it. I dont get it installed in my car until April 6th, so I cant tell you if the app actually works or not, but I'd doubt they'd print it on the box if it didnt. But ya never know!
