I bought this to replace an old factory tape deck in my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic. I have Apple Music and listen to podcasts so now I can listen to anything on my iPhone or other devices using Bluetooth or the USB port on the front. I replaced my factory speakers but, before I did, the difference in sound quality with this JVC and my factory speakers was night and day! I almost didn’t bother replacing the speakers but I am adding an amplifier. There are a ton of settings available. There is a pro sound EQ, easy EQ and user EQ that allows you to fine tune treble, midrange and bass. There’s also a bass boost, sound boost and I believe there’s an option for the volume to rise when the road noice increases. There’s a subwoofer setting and amplifier settings also. The ability to change the colors on the receiver is a nice touch. You can have one solid color, one color for the outer area and one for the inner or you can set the color to pulse to the beat of the music. The stereo even came with a microphone for hands free calls that the Geek Squad professional installed at the top left of my windshield. I didn’t know the mic came with it so I was pleasantly surprised. I included a picture. I know I’m forgetting a lot more but, for the money this stereo is a really good deal. It’s right above the entry level price but not over $100. I highly recommend it.

I'm not using this Car Receiver myself, this was a gift for my stepdaughter, but she is loving it. The bluetooth allows her to listen to her music on her phone, the CD player is a nice option to have if there's ever need for it, and the detachable faceplate is absolutely fantastic when parking in bad neighborhoods. For the price, this was a very wise purchase.

Sound is good easy to use color is great fit is good

Got this for my son's first car to replace the stock deck and he says its great, does everything he needs it to and looks sharp doing it. He got it for all the modern connectivity such as bluetooth and handsfree options. Is also a great price for the quality.

Have an old Toyota truck with a high end stereo from the 1990's. Replace the Amp myself. Bought Sony receiver to replace the one that I had in the car. The installers noticed that the Sony wouldn't link my cell phone to the unit because of the Amp. They replaced the Sony with this JVC. The unit is fantastic. It adjusts itself. The stereo has never sounded so good. The installers were absolutely fantastic and spent a lot of time with me making sure I knew how to use the unit and set up the phone.

Had to buy something to adapt my 2003 pickup to be legal with our new Hands free law. Didn't want to spend a lot of money so opted for this radio/Cd/ Bluetooth. Had trouble adapting to the differences from my old radio/CD. The setup instructions were somewhat incomplete but I found the entire instructions on the internet, I noticed this unit was adaptable for use with a remote control that was very reasonable in expense so I got one and have found it much easier to use than trying to push the buttons on the radio itself. Good sound quality and seems to have a pretty good range of pulling in stations. Bluetooth works great which is why I bought this in the first place. 4 stars.

I have two double DIN radios from Best Buy and was not sure I would like the single DIN, or if it would be just as functional. However, I was very happy to find this radio is just as good. Awesome functions, great Bluetooth connectivity and super sound quality.

We are so pleased with this radio! It is easy to operate & we can use both Bluetooth phones while riding in our RV. We can listen to Audible books, receive phone calls & get navigation updates without changing any settings! Would recommend it to anyone!!

This car radio has a lot of quality to it. It still works like it’s brand new. Plays clear loud music. Easily connects to Bluetooth. And I love my car system. Thanks Best Buy for providing quality service and quality customer service as well.

This JVC stereo replaced the factory radio in my 2003 Nissan Sentra. The sound is much better than stock radio even with the stock speakers installed. Bluetooth works perfectly. I would recommend this stereo.

This model does everything I wanted, Bluetooth music with Andoid for music app, Pandora etc, Bluetooth phone access. Use of JVC Android app to update receiver settings. Great sound thru my oem speakers in older VW car. I appreciate the Greek Squad install.

This was an open box. I installed myself witch was easy. I really like how the bluetooth works with my phone. I've got another JVC and it won't start playing tell you hit play. This Stereo starts automatically and sounds great in my 20 year old truck.

Easy install, Tons of audio enhancements and tuning ability, built in channel crossover, multi point color flow or static options. Great head unit. Bluetooth calling works great. Only gripe is volume button made of plastic, feels a little flimsy.

Purchased jvc in dash CD receiver and had best buy install it. For now only one station works on the radio, the tech claims I need a new antenna. Once I install a new antenna for my 98 civic I'll see if it was installed correctly or not. Otherwise the sound quality of the receiver is pretty good. The app is outdated and definitely needs improvement but the app allows for much more functionality of the settings for the receiver. You can change settings and other things from the radio but again it's limited. The bluetooth mic quality isn't that great or it could be the location in which the tech installed my mic. Everyone says I'm clear but very distant, that's with the volume turned all the way up. All in all it gets the job done for me for now.

Brought for my daughter car she loves it the Bluetooth is awesome. So as she gets close to the car with her phone it automatically connects to the Bluetooth. The radio sounds good and has a nice sound

Fits my Jeep perfect. Settings are a little to get used to. Somehow my date won’t adjust but I’m sure I’ll figure out. Need to buy tuner for Sirius radio as well as steering wheel controls. Great radio

Love it!! Great deal. Bluetooth is super fast, audio is clear with lots of eq options. Looks great and easy to install. If you’re looking to update an older head unit this will do well.

Everything but the display is great about this unit. Lots of bang for the buck. Unfortunately, the display is too dim to read during a bright sunny day. I don't expect to read it when in direct sunlight, but even ambient light make it unreadable. I called tech support and they said I already had the DIM feature turned of and the brightness at maximum. I looked at another nearly identical unit that was on display in the store and it didn't go any brighter. So even though it looked okay with the store lighting, it wouldn't be acceptable in a car.
