• A:Answer Yes but very simple and easy. The upright part is inserted into the base and you attach 4 bolts. the you can attach the shelves. All done within 15 minutes. Very well constructed well and very sturdy. I would purchase again, very pleased.

Q: QuestionI want to be able to easily remove the TV from the stand, in order to store the TV. Will this stand accommodate that need and do I need to buy a separate mount for that?

• A:Answer We put a 55" LG flat panel TV on this stand and it works well. We have a vinyl floor, so the stand rolls very easily and is really stable. Don't know how it would behave on carpet, I'm guessing it would be ok unless the carpet was thick
