• The back is hard and the sides are rubbery. The whole thing has a rubbery feel though. My wife likes it!

• The case has a hard rubber feel. I also have a quality screen protector on my iPhone X. With both the case and my screen protector on my phone, I have dropped my iPhone several times and have had no cracks or scratches to my iPhone. In fact, the case is still looking prettyyyy good. Five thumbs up!
