A:AnswerThe "glitter" is on the outside, but it isn't made of regular glitter that gets everywhere. It feels more like the texture of rocks. It's a very uneven surface and perhaps that's how they got it to look like glitter. In my opinion they should have covered it with plastic and it would have been a very nice looking case! The outside is very rough in your hand. I ended up returning it especially for this reason. Also I would assume that with prolonged regular use the exposed "glitter" my see some damage from sliding and scraping against other surfaces. I also worried about the case scraping against my leather handbags and possibly damaging them. Hope this helps.
