- Answer I don't think any touchscreens were installed in cars back in 2004; there were CD players and digital radios with SiriusXM. Bluetooth might have been around. Most likely, a touchscreen would have to be retrofitted for an older car, if it can be installed at all.

- Answer Based on pictures I've seen, I believe it will fit. I would recommend going to a store (or calling their install department) and verifying with them. The dials on the side of the stock radio on Grand Cherokees look wonky.

- Answer There are a LOT of "tabs" on this radio. If she is just going to use the radio interface and not mess around with anything else, then this radio would be fine. Now that I am used to it, the radio is great. The first few days, I didn't feel like it was a very intuitive interface.

- Answer Above answer is not true. I spoke with a Best Buy Sales Rep and they mentioned I needed an additional connection for my overhead dvd player in the back row. I didnt see this option when attempting to order online so i was glad i spoke with a representative who knew about this
