The Geek Squad Tech installed the aftermarket mic on my car. He said it was necessary. I would ask at the store about a specific car.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They installed a Mic. It sits up near the rear view mirror and is not reallty obvious. I have to admit the version they installed has better quality and requires less volume.
