Yes. It has many colors to choose from including red. It even allows you to change different sections to different colors.

Yes. I haven't played with it yet, but the manual says you have a handful of preset colors available for two different zones. Amazingly, you are also able to set a custom R/G/B color. The manual can be found at kenwood.com. Just google the model number. Remember: cool features, but no cd player.
