QuestionI need more detailed instructions about connecting this camera to the reverse power wire in a 2011 Camry XLE. For example, there is not much red power wire exposed at the connector from the camera to the cable that runs to the dash receiver.

- Answer The back up camera has the standard wiring. To see if it will be compatible with your stock radio I would advise to consult with our Best Buy installation team by calling them direct.

- Answer It will work with any car that has a radio that is compatible with the camera. The camera cable is pretty long so routing will be the toughest challenge. Confirm your radio is compatible before installation.

- Answer Its about 16’ from my radio to the back of my truck. After routing I had about a foot of cable left. Of course the routing was not a straight line. I went through the firewall to the left frame rail along to the back bumper.

- Answer I don't believe you can. I could not find cabling on my Toyota to do that so I hooked it up to my receiver with an RCA plug in back. You should have one on your kenwood. All wires are there to hook up re

- Answer I am getting mine installed on January 19th. The installer explained to me that I can have it both ways. It will come on when I shift to reverse and I can also turn on and leave on from Camera button on the Kenwood Head unit. It may depend on your head unit. It will come in handy if the back of the SUV is full. That way it can be the rear view mirror.

- Answer I paid $129 to have it installed in my wife's vehicle because I was too lazy to do it myself. It all depends on what type of head unit you have. If your head unit has the capability and the connector, then it should be able to work with it. It has 3 wires connections, RCA jack, positive and negative wires.
