“Does this camera make you select the wi-fi every time you enter the vehicle in order for it to work? I'd like to be able to use my cell data while driving i.e. gps.”

This model only needs a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection in order to connect to the Kenwood Dash Cam App Manager App. The camera will work on its own without connecting to app. Please contact Kenwood Customer Service for more information.
