The KENWOOD DRV-A310W dash cam does not have a built-in parking mode, but it can record while the vehicle is parked if you use the optional CA-DR1030 hardwire kit (sold separately). This kit enables parking mode, allowing the dash cam to monitor and record when motion or an impact is detected while the vehicle is off. Without this hardwiring kit, the camera will only record when the vehicle is powered on. We also recommend connecting with a Geek Squad install professional at your local Best Buy store.
