- Answer Are you setting the number of cups when youbtell it to brew a pot? It would be easy to miss that step. In my old coffee maker i simply addrd the amount of water that i wanted to use, and the maker brewed all of whatever i put in. With the Duo you have to set the number of cups, then push the big K button to execute the process. I forget to do that lelast step on occasion.

QuestionI put the water to fill a pot of coffee. Sometimes it only brews a tablespoon or two and other times the coffee pot almost overflows… how do I fix that? It makes a huge mess every time.

QuestionThe duo plus with reservoir on side. I fill to capacity and select for 12 cups. It does not make 12 cups ice water stops at 6.5 cups. I have cleaned it and that is not helping. Also a few times it won't make a pot pf coffee or a k-cup either.
