QuestionWhat is the footprint of the machine without the water reservoi attached? What is the footprint of the machine with the water reservoir attached? The only dimension given is 14.5 inches tall with cover down and somewhat over 17 inches with the KCup open

- Answer Thank you for your question. The dimensions of the K-Duo Plus are 14.19H x 7.68W x15.88D with the water reservoir positioned in the back, and 14.19H x 8.2W x 11.7D with the water reservoir positioned on the side. We hope this helps!

QuestionPlease explain the following answer. Also, be sure to run a rinse cycle after the single cup and replace that amount of water as well. What has to be rinsed after a single cup is made?

- Answer If you plan on brewing a cup of tea or coco after brewing a cup of coffee you should run a rinse cycle to eliminate the possibility of having a hint of coffee flavor. Also after running any type of cleaning solution through the system.

QuestionI have the keurig duo and it will not descale. This is my third one since Christmas and each one has the same problem. I have called and other than sending me a new one no one can tell me why they do not descale. They only go about 3 weeks

- Answer Quote from the owners manual (Available in .PDF format) at Keurig support tab.: "Depending on the mineral content of your water, calcium deposits or scale may build up in your brewer. Scale is nontoxic but if left unattended can hinder brewer performance. Regularly descaling your brewer every 3-6 months helps maintain the heating element, and other internal parts that come in contact with water. Calcium deposits may build up faster, making it necessary to descale more often."

QuestionShould you remove the brewing filter and holder when using only pods?

- Answer I personally do not see the need to remove it I can make the pods and I don’t see the brewing filter getting wet by it or the machine not acting accordingly. I guess I might have to re-answer this question when I try it and see if there’s a difference for myself. I won’t unless it needs to be removed. I don’t think it needs to because I have left it and my machine works get.

QuestionI use the pot on all my coffee selections. I put the selection on pot/then I push 12 cups and then brew. The pot does not fill completely full.The pot fills up three quarters full. Why doesn’t the pot fill up.

- Answer Thanks for your question. Our Coffee Makers do not dispense cold beverages however, Keurig makes brewing over ice easy! You can use any of your favorite pods. Here are directions: fill a 16-oz cup with ice and place under brewer (do not use glass), choose the 6-oz. or 8-oz. option on your coffee maker, brew directly over ice, stir, and enjoy!
