Q: Questionwhat does the plug look like? The recepticle has the ground on the bottom, a horizontal slot on the right side and a T slot laying sideways to the right on the left side. see attached drawing.

• A:Answer While I cannot give you a 100% certified accurate answer, just know that for this price you can be pretty sure it is resistance heating. All of the window units that I have seen in this price range use this method of heating. Pricier units may have a heat pump.
