Are these shallow mount? null

Well it would be in my car but the electrical were not compatible

Existing speaker in 2001 ford explorer is same size width and depth. But there is a extra not needed single nut and bolt on the back of the existing subwoofer. The front securing screws, keep the speaker in place securely. This rear bolt only takes up space. The new speaker will not have that bolt, and that makes it a shallow mount.

No, this is not a shallow mount type.
