Q: QuestionWhats the difference Loc or this?What does this do that an Loc don't. I mite be wrong in putting an Loc and this product in same category but it sounds alot like an Loc. I just added Loc and was able to keep all factory settings. Factory controls amp/sub

• A:Answer I could not use a passive LOC, and this was $60 versus an active audio control LOC that may or may not have worked and cost $400 or more. This tells the computer that there are speakers connected to the stereo when there are none, so that it will allow the high pass signal to flow to the amp inputs. Otherwise, the computer sees no resistance and shuts off to protect the radio.
