QuestionWill this fit to replace a KBRC36MHS01? Cheers to KitchenAid! Just noticed that the fridge I want to replace was intalled in 1999. Runs great with a repair last year ($146), the interior plastic is just starting to fail from 24 years of use. Thank you.

The dimensions of model KBBR306ESS are Cutout Depth (in) 24, Cutout Height (in) 83 1/2, Cutout Width (in) 35 1/2, Depth 27 3/4", Height 83 3/8", Width 36 1/4", Depth Closed Excluding Handles 25 1/8", Depth Closed Including Handles 27 3/4", Depth Excluding Doors 23 11/16", Depth With Door Open 90 Degree 59", and Height To Top Of Cabinet 83 3/8". QuestionWe are replacing a KitchenAid Superba built-in refrigerator with a paneled front. Model KBRS36MHX00. Was wondering if factory dimensions of our Superba match dimensions of this fridge, fitting into same cabinetry space. Does it come panel ready?

QuestionHow wide do you have to open the door to trigger the lights in the fridge? Do they stay on while the door is open or do they turn off unless the door stays wide open?

- Answer Just talked to the KitchenAid tech support. This model requires the door to be at least 45 degrees for the lights to be on. The lights will only turn on when the door is wider than 45 degrees open and it will turn off when the door is less than 45 degrees open.
